I would be severely remiss if I did not mention Weeks Public Library’s celebration of Cow Day. It is one of that library’s biggest programs of the year.
The Greenland New Hampshire Library first started celebrating “Cow Day” over 15 years ago, as part of June’s National Dairy Month.
This year’s event included a petable calf, cow crafts, creating cow masks, telling cow stories and cow jokes, making an origami cow, watching a cow movie, and more.
Precious, simply precious.
