Women’s History
"The ongoing invisibility of women and girls is a serious issue for our country, and for the world. The invisibility of our history, heroes, stories, challenges, and success handicaps the future of all Americans, and it deeply affects our economy and our communities."--Megan Smith, U.S. Chief Technology OfficerWhat History Isn’t
“History isn’t about dates and places and wars. It’s about the people who fill the spaces between them.”
— Jodi Picoult, The StorytellerRecent Comments

Brooks we go way back. Remember Tony Goba? I was with him and you at Pinkham Notch in the lat 50’s. We camped across from your dads place with a huge parachute in the parking lot. Hike to Tuckermans and skied . Spent time at Howard Johnsons and Lake of the Clouds. Great memories. I can still smell the balsams as we hiked the John Sherborn. Thanks for the contact. I live in Charleston sc coming to Mt Washington this summer. Tony died in his VW micro bus from the heater fumes. Butch Anderson Ps maybe you remember hiding coconuts in the trees at the notch.
